*TOPIC: THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD – PART 9*

*BIBLE: PS 23:4A*

*Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me;..*.

How can a man walk through the valley of the shadow of death and yet fear no evil? The shadow of death itself is fearful but going to the valley of that shadow of death is tormenting yet it is possible to be there and fear no evil. You cannot be conscious of the indwelling of God and live in fear of evil. E your spirit fully grasp the importance of the Holy Spirit in your life, fear of unknown evil will flee.

Beloved, what gives a man total confidence of victory in the midst of the storm; in the shadow of death or in the lion’s den is the assurance of God’s presence. You will never see a believer who has the consciousness of being a carrier of Holy Spirit within that will live in fear. Fear is a result of the loss of trust and confidence that God is with us and in us no matter what we face.

David says “though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil”. Why? FOR THOU HATH WITH ME. Many Christians believe God is everywhere but they don’t believe he is with them everywhere they found themselves whether in a good or bad situation. Your situation doesn’t determine whether God is with you or not. You can be in a mess and God will still be the message you are preaching even in the mess. Men and women who knew God are not moved by circumstances because they believe that is God with them.

Beloved, Lord Jesus was being tortured yet he was carrying God inside. Apostle Paul was beaten with a rod on many occasions yet he had God with him and preaching God in the prison. Though Daniel had God with him he entered Lion’s den. Joseph, we were told prospered because God was with him yet he was thrown into the pit, sold as a slave, lied against, sent into prison before he became a prime minister.

Beloveth, if you are thinking God is not with you because of your present challenges, then, you need to change your thinking. Jesus cried on the cross but God was silent. Likewise, until your time is finished, God will not intervene. When Jesus cried “IT IS FINISHED”, the veil of the temple torn from the top till down. God was waiting for him to finish his course before the host of heaven will swing into action.

Your miracles are waiting. Stay Calm.

Thanks for reading the series.
