THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD – PART 3 by Isaac Oluwaseun Agbenla

*GOOD MORNING SAINTS,*

LET’S CONSIDER *”THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD – PART 3″*

*No matter how wise a sheep can be, he will never be as wise as the shepherd.* It is important to understand that effort without support from God will end in nothing. Our human mind can do a lot for itself but God’s intervention is the secret of fruitful adventure on earth. The best a sheep can get for itself is determined by what he can see for the moment, it is the shepherd that knows where the sheep will find pasture day after day.

Beloved, a sheep don’t have to carry the burden of where the last meal is coming from. The shepherd goes and see ahead of the sheep and make provision for where to get the next meal. God is our shepherd and he sees ahead of us. Our major responsibility is to tend towards the path he is leading us. You may know something for yourself but God knows tomorrow more than you know these minutes.

If you desire to succeed, excel and make progress in all your life journey, listen to this counsel that has helped my destiny for years.

In Proverbs 3:5-6, the Bible says:

[5] *Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding*.

[6] *In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths*.

Beloved, you must get to a level where you trust God and doubt not, over everything he tells you and wherever he leads you. This must be done with all of our heart. Sometimes where God asks you to go may not make common sense, who God ask you to marry may not suggest common sense but no matter how unrealistic it is, it is the best for your destiny at that moment.

Also, lean not on your own understanding. If you walk with God and work in life by your own common sense alone, you will end up a common man. Your understanding is minute compare to what the wisdom of God can do for you.

Remember, in all ways acknowledge him. Don’t take steps or make a decision in life without seeking God’s face about it, most especially when it comes to long life matters. Don’t enter marriage, ministry, career etc without acknowledging God. He designs your future and knows where you should belong.

Finally, when you acknowledge him, he will direct your path. He won’t direct you if you don’t make him first in your life. He directs those who trust in him with all their heart, lean not on their own understanding, acknowledges God in all their ways. Your obedience determines God’s intervention in our lives.
