TOPIC: DO YOU WANT SEED OR BREAD? – PART 1
BIBLE: 2 CORINTHIANS 9:10
Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)
Beloved, you are either a shower or an eater. God will give a sower more than enough so that he would have enough for himself and be able to sow into the lives of others but if you stopped at the level of an eater, you will not have sufficiently that will be left for others. You don’t grow big before you start giving, you will have to obey the principle of a sower which is sowing your seed, for you to grow big in the future.
There is nothing we give to God that is not from the fruit he has giving us. Your salary is fruit. The interest on your sales is fruit. The gain on the contract is a fruit. Inside your fruit is your seed. Mango, Orange, Pineapple fruit all have seed in their fruit. Whatever you earn is a fruit and your seed is in it. If you refuse to sow when you harvest your fruit, you have denied yourself of divine opportunity to harvest.
Today, many of us are eating our seed and that is why we are suffering without harvest. You are harvesting nothing because you are eating the seed. If you spend all your salary on what you need, you haven’t planted something for the harvest season. Your seed includes your offering, tithe, relief materials to the poor, church building support, missionary support, pastoral offering, etc.
You see, I have received hundreds of mailing requests from people from all over the world asking me to pray for their finances. Note: my online teaching reaches every continent of the world. My websites have people from more than one hundred (100) countries visiting to read. No exaggeration. The truth is, financial blessings don’t come by prayer alone, it obeys biblical principles of giving and receiving. Many people don’t like to hear this truth. However, there is nothing we can do against the truth but for the truth. Your seed must be planted before your harvest can come. As a minister of the gospel, I must plant before I harvest, it is a natural and spiritual principle.
Beloved, when you sow your offering and tithe, you are planting a seed that will bring the harvest. If you refuse to plant, it will be difficult to harvest.
