TOPIC: WHY ME?
TEXT: Judges 6:13
And Gideon said unto him, Oh my Lord, if the LORD be with us, why then is all this befallen us?
Are you asking the same question?
Beloved, God has promised you and me in His word that He will be with us no matter what we pass through.
Hear the word of the Lord in Isaiah 41:10:
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
You see, you don’t have to feel God to know He is with you. You can’t know God by feeling but by faith. Faith is believing the invisible. God’s word is true and if you believe it, then you must also accept the fact that God is with you every time and everywhere.
Beloved, what you are passing through might creates the consciousness of where is God if He indeed sees me. Listen, that was the same question Jesus asked when he was crucified on the cross of Calvary as His father kept mute.
Your trials and temptations are for a season. God says “I will strengthen you”. To strengthen means to give assistance. God knows you may go weary but instead of fainting, he promised to strengthen your heart and faith until you get to the finish line.
My beloved, your challenges are not your end but a word of testimony that you will live to share when you get to the top. Don’t look at the present situation but the glory that is ahead of you.
Don’t lose hope too soon. There are better days ahead. You will still laugh again. You are not going to remain in that situation forever. You will win again. You celebration will commence soon. People will still gather to congratulate you. You are Next in line for a miracle.
God bless you
