BIBLE TEXT: Isaiah 43:18-19a
*Do not remember the past events, pay no attention to things of the old. Look I am about to do something new;*
Your past is your past. We are all products of our past decisions either good or bad. Our present state presents us with many opportunities to redefine our future. If you hate your past, prepare for your future. This is the importance of salvation. It helps to restructure a damaged life and reconfigure it for a flourishing future(Jer.29:11).
No matter how much you think about the past, you can’t change it. You can’t withdraw words you carelessly uttered. You can’t marry that man/woman you ignorantly refuse to marry back then. You can’t take back what youthful lust and exuberance have robbed you but you can decide to end well and strong after those mistakes.
I don’t care about the level of decadence your life or condition has reached when Jesus takes over, the trouble will definitely be over. The barrier between you and a new beginning is salvation, repentance, and determination. If you have repented and become saved, congratulations! But be determined to rewrite your destiny with the help of God.
Listen, maybe you are heartbroken and needed solace for your restless soul, beloved, Jesus is the answer.
You have to forget about who you use to be and now embrace and experience rebranding. God is waiting to start afresh with you. Listen, it’s only Jesus that cannot be tired of your mistakes. Men can tell you it’s complicated but with Jesus, nothing shall be impossible (Luke 1:37). Surrender your life to God and you will experience the healing of the heart and transformation from that state of hopelessness.
You have made many mistakes but your mistakes will be erased and forgotten when Jesus’ blood cleanses you from all sins. ( 1 John 1:7-9)
You can’t afford to end this year without a change of heart. Jesus is saying *come unto me all you that are carrying a heavy load that is more than your capacity and let me help you with your life burden and put end to your frustration*.
Jesus is Lord
Surrender all to Jesus
