Today’s devotional 24/10/1
Bible: Rom. 12:2
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
One thing you need to understand about God’s will is, *God doesn’t reveal His complete plan in one day*
He reveals His will to us one step at a time. You may see the end of the journey but you will never know all the steps required to arrive at that glorious destination. If God shows you what you are going to pass through before you reach the destination, you may back out.
Joseph had a great dream of the end but never knew prison and slavery is part of the making process.
Moses led people out of Egypt but God never told him about the red sea ahead of him.
Joshua was appointed without prior notice of the wall of Jericho and the land of Ai defeat.
Jesus was to have the name above all names but not without the cross.
Don’t be in haste to know everything because it’s difficult for your mind to comprehend how it will happen.
After we obey the first step, He shows us the next.
*Why should the Lord show us step two if we haven’t obeyed step one?*
It’s our obedience to first instruction that qualify us for the next level. Some people repeat the same class every year they refuse to obey the first instruction from God & yet praying for the next move. You will remain in the position for long if you don’t take steps.
If you know step one and fail to abide by it, if God shows you the next, it would make you more unaccountable.
So, don’t try to figure out the next step until you have acted on what you know is right now.
Beloved, when God can trust you with little, he will entrust you with more.
Your stagnation may be connected to your disobedience to the heavenly vision.
What is it God is telling you to do now? Listen, he may not make ways for you until you obey his formal instruction.
Beloved, you can’t outsmart God.
Obey him in your choice of marriage partner
Obey him in your ministerial assignment
Obey him in your finance.
Don’t expect God to trust you with 10% of 1million when you are not faithful with 10% of 10 thousand.
Stop wasting your days. Be Obedient.
