Good Morning Saints,
Topic: How to Discover God’s will and fulfill it Part 1
Bible Text: Jeremiah 1:4-5
*Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,*
*Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations._*

I have discovered part of God’s will for my life but haven’t finished learning how to fulfill them. I have chosen to share my knowledge in this line to help someone who is in need of it even as I continue to search more of God’s plan for my own life.
Finding God’s will for your life is essential, but it’s just the beginning. Once you start moving in God’s direction, don’t be surprised if devil rises to fight you. If you’re not fulfilling destiny, devil wouldn’t have to disturb you since he knows you are wandering in the wilderness of life without a well established purpose. We must understand that we won’t fulfill God’s will accidentally. There must be conscious effort to actualize the purpose of God for our lives.
Beloved, discovering God’s will requires strong desire to know. If you don’t care about God’s will, he won’t force you but there can never be satisfaction in whatever you do outside his plan for your life.
You see, many frustrations boldly written on people’s face today is traceable to the lack of inner satisfaction. There is emptiness within when you are in a wrong location or wrong career. You may be earning well yet found life meaningless when you are not where God wants you to be. Nothing makes a man or woman unfulfilled like living in a wrong habitat.
Beloved, imagine you removing a fish from water and giving it a nest as habitation. What would be the end result? When you are in another man’s territory, you will become a terror and finally suffocate.
You see, even though a man can swim for some time inside water without trouble but he is not destined and made to live inside water. You may be doing something that isn’t God’s will for your life and have temporal pleasure in it for some time but since you are not made for that purpose, you can’t have the best out of life from there. God may permit you to stay in such area for some time but it has duration. Where you are today is not a waste because that’s God’s way of preparing you for the main place. Elisha was a farmer before he became a Prophet unto nations. David was a shepherd boy before he ruled over the kingdom of Israel. Joseph was a leader in the prison before he became a leader of the nation except over the King. Mordecai watched the gate before he became personal assistant to the King. Where you are is good but don’t stop there. There is a place where your joy will be full and your peace will be guaranteed.
Beloved, you are created for a purpose and discovering the purpose for your creation is your number one assignment in life. You see, God will fully bless only what he has ordained and commanded. You cannot start a journey God didn’t send you and expect him to be responsible for your travelling expenses. When you represent your nation or government in any competition or conference, it’s the responsibility of that institution to take care of all expenses. You can’t ask your daddy for feeding money when you’re representing Nigeria in Olympics. So also, God is not responsible for what he has not commanded. He may bless it but it can only be partial. This is why doing what God wants you to do in a way he wants you to do it is very crucial to fulfilling destiny
Finding fulfilment in life starts with finding your place in life where you are made to fit in perfectly. A car is made to run but any attempt to fly will crash it. When you are doing or attempting to do what you are not created to do, you end up unfulfilled and unsatisfied in life.
Have you asked yourself or God Almighty?
What am I created for?
What gap am I made to fill?
Why am I living?
What will be the solution I would have provided for my generation when I have long gone from earth?.
These questions are good and needed before you forge ahead. We shall discuss how to find or discover God’s will or plan for our lives in our next chapter.
